Join the Outstanding Equans Multi-Technical Services Team working across a portfolio of multi-technical sites. Represent our skilled team providing outstanding services on site! Equans ANZ, a leading provider of technical services across Australia & New Zealand, and globally, is on the lookout for a Multi-Service Technician – Electrician to be an important part of an experienced team of multi-skilled technicians that work across a variety of sites across Perth and regional and remote sites. What You Will Be Doing
- Reactive and preventative maintenance
- Undertake fault‑finding, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on a wide range of electrical assets, from general circuits to complex installations.
- Switchboard and distribution work
- Complete maintenance, inspections, and minor upgrades on distribution boards and main switchboards.
- Critical power maintenance
- Service, test, and maintain UPS units, static transfer switches (STS), automatic transfer switches (ATS), air circuit breakers (ACBs), and perform generator run tests and operational checks.
- Technical administration
- Complete service reports, documentation, compliance records, and minor works quotations accurately and on time.
- Multi‑service capability development
- Be open to training in other services testing and inspection, with structured development provided to broaden your skillset.
- Team‑based service delivery
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple trades to deliver high‑quality outcomes for customers.
- Overnight remote‑site maintenance
- In frequent travel to remote locations for scheduled maintenance activities, including overnight stays as required to meet service commitments.
- Interstate shutdown support
- Participate in infrequent interstate travel to support the broader team in delivering complex electrical shutdown and maintenance works.
- Customer engagement
- Build strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring a positive service experience.
- On‑call participation
- Participate in the on‑call roster to support reactive and emergency works as required.
- Safety‑focused technical work
- Perform all work in accordance with Equans safety, quality, and customer standards, ensuring compliance with WHS and electrical regulations.
- Apprentice mentoring
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on‑the‑job training to apprentices to support their development.
- Cross‑site/state collaboration
- Work closely with state teams, managers, and other service partners to foster a strong, supportive team environment. About You
- Electrical trade capability
- Qualified electrician with experience in commercial or industrial service, maintenance, and installation, or someone growth‑oriented who is ready to broaden their technical skills across multi‑service work.
- Self‑starter mindset
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative, and confidently manage tasks across multiple sites.
- Team‑focused approach
- Works effectively as part of a multi‑trade team, supports colleagues, and contributes to a strong, collaborative culture.
- Can‑do attitude
- Brings a positive, proactive approach to challenges, takes ownership, and consistently delivers high‑quality outcomes.
- Strong communication skills
- A clear and confident communicator who proactively provides updates, insights, and technical information to the National Technical Service Manager and Service Coordinator to support smooth service delivery.

- Commitment to further training
- Willing to pursue additional qualifications or certifications where required, supported by company‑funded training. Skills And Experience
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Electrical License.
- Well‑developed customer service skills.
- Robust understanding on complex electrical installations.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
