Claims Consultant (Workers Compensation) (City of Vincent)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our WorkCare Claims team at JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd . This role will be based in Perth . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd are a standalone business unit within the Marsh Pacific overarching business that enjoys a 95% market share across Australia. We’ve developed a unique method to provide risk financing and management solutions for Local Government clients. JLT works with mutual funds in particular, demonstrating this ability to work innovatively with our clients to produce effective solutions designed to protect their assets, people and community. We proudly service over 500 Local Government organisations across Australia. Our Perth team manages a not‑for‑profit industry based mutual indemnity scheme (LGISWA) owned by 145 Western Australia local governments and focused on meeting their unique requirements. To learn more please visit The Claims Consultant will provide essential claims management support to the Senior Claims Consultant and Team Leader, managing a small portfolio of Workers Compensation claims while collaborating with members, clients, and the broader claims team. Responsibilities
- Deliver timely work output on the claims management system.
- Work effectively with your team, internal and external stakeholders.
- Deal efficiently with Council enquiries.
- Provide high‑quality claims management services.
- Ensure compliance with Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 (WA), Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Regulations 2024 (WA) and the Principles and Standards as set out by the Regulator. Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing end‑to‑end insurance claims.
- An understanding of the fundamentals of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act.
- Strong communication and personable skills.
- Computer literacy, including intermediate skills in MS Excel, Outlook & Word.
- Self‑motivation and essential organisational skills. What sets you apart
