Content Creator - Social Media (Perth)

Ford & Doonan is one of WA’s most recognised and awarded air conditioning companies
- and we’re ready to go all-in on content. We’re looking for a talented, platform-native Content Creator to make this their full-time focus: short-form video, long-form YouTube, written blog posts, photography, and everything in between. No two days will look the same, and the content you create will directly shape how Perth sees our brand. This is a role with a good amount of creative freedom. About You
- You live and breathe Instagram, TikTok, Meta, and YouTube – you know the algorithm quirks, the format differences, and what makes people stop scrolling
- You can self-manage a content calendar and juggle filming, editing, and publishing without needing someone to hold your hand
- A marketing or communications background is a bonus, but your portfolio and platform instincts matter far more than your degree
- Your written voice is sharp – whether that’s a caption, a blog post, or a script
- You’re genuinely creative and confident bringing ideas to the table – and you understand how to make a premium brand look excellent on camera What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager to align content with broader brand and campaign activity
- Filming, editing, and publishing short‑form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts – this is the core of the role
- Producing long‑form YouTube content that tells the Ford & Doonan story and showcases our products and expertise
- Writing blog posts and website content that build our brand authority and feed into search‑driven results
- Still photography for social, website, and campaign use
- Staying ahead of platform trends and bringing fresh, timely ideas to the content calendar each week
