People and Culture Manager – Hospitality (Perth)

Our client operates within the hospitality sector, providing accommodation, dining and event services to a broad customer base. They manage a multi-department operation including guest services, food and beverage and events, supported by a central team overseeing administration and people functions. About the role We are seeking an experienced HR / People and Culture Manager to join a growing hospitality business and support the development of workplace practices. This role works closely with the General Manager and division leaders, partnering across departments to implement consistent processes, strengthen communication and support effective team management. This is a full‑time, permanent position based in Fremantle, with two days working from home and travel to Rottnest Island to support on‑site staff and maintain alignment across locations.
- Maintain HR records, systems and documentation, including HRIS accuracy
- Manage onboarding, offboarding and probation processes
- Provide guidance to managers on performance, conduct and disciplinary matters
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and Fair Work requirements
- Track training, compliance and employee records
- Support recruitment coordination and onboarding logistics
- Assist with employee relations matters and general HR queries
- Contribute to health and safety processes
- Build and improve HR structure, processes and documentation
- Partner with leaders to improve communication, accountability and team alignment
- Maintain consistent HR presence across mainland and island operations About You
- Previous experience in a similar senior HR professional role
- Strong understanding of employee relations and Australian employment legislation
- Experience working in a high‑volume workforce setting
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
