Service Manager - Offender Intervention and Support (Perth)

Position Overview Service Manager – Offender Intervention and Family Support. Full‑time (37.5 hours per week, 1.0 FTE) permanent position based in East Perth. The role provides strategic and operational leadership of the Connect & Respect program, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and achievement of contractual outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Connect & Respect program, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and achievement of contractual outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal leaders, funding bodies, and sector partners to strengthen and evolve service responses.
- Identify emerging opportunities associated with areas of knowledge and expertise and support development of integrated justice and specialist service initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
- Develop creative justice and family violence service responses and opportunities to strengthen integrated offender intervention and victim survivor support systems across WA.
- Manage and oversee multiple program budgets, contract performance, and compliance.
- Prepare and contribute to tender grants and applications for funding.
- Recruit, onboard, supervise, develop staff and handle performance or conduct issues fairly and responsibly.
- Deliver mandated community services, including men’s behaviour change programmes within a family and domestic violence context.
- Deliver integrated FDV interventions, including perpetrator behaviour change and victim survivor support responses.
- Manage rolling and closed group programmes and court mandated service delivery.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage competing demands. Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary degree qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Criminology or counselling with eligibility for professional registration with the relevant accrediting body.
- Demonstrated experience delivering integrated FDV interventions and managing criminogenic prison and community‑based behaviour change programmes.
- Proven experience managing staff performance including recruitment, onboarding, supervision and development.
- Strong understanding of victim support, perpetrator accountability frameworks and coordinated system‑based responses to FDV.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programme budgets and oversee contract performance and compliance.
- Evidence of preparing and contributing to tender grants and funding applications.
- Well‑developed knowledge of the community services sector, including Government and not‑for‑profit organisations.
- Ability to be creative, flexible and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, WA Working with Children’s Check and WA Driver’s Licence. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Justice Contractor Security Clearance. Benefits
