We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business.**Permanent Full-Time | Perth Head Office** **Travel to site as required**We are seeking an experienced **Safety Advisor – Risk & Compliance** to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity based at our **Perth Head Office**.This role provides group-level support in risk, safety and compliance activities and plays a key role in strengthening how incidents, risks and controls are managed across the business. You will partner closely with site teams to improve consistency, assurance and continuous improvement outcomes.**About the Role**Reporting to Risk & Compliance leadership, your responsibilities will include:* Providing group-level advice and support across safety, risk and compliance frameworks* Supporting and coordinating incident investigations, including serious and high-potential events* Applying recognised investigation and analysis methodologies to identify systemic causes and control effectiveness* Reviewing investigation outcomes to ensure quality, consistency and compliance requirements are met* Supporting risk management processes, control verification and compliance assurance activities* Partnering with site safety teams and operational leaders to uplift capability and confidence* Analysing trends and themes to support continuous improvement initiatives* Supporting audits, reviews and regulator interactions as required* **Traveling to operational sites as required** to support assurance, investigations and stakeholder engagement**About You**You will bring:* Demonstrated experience in safety, risk or compliance roles within complex or regulated environments* Exposure to incident investigations and structured analysis methodologies (e.g. ICAM or equivalent)* Sound understanding of WHS legislation and risk management principles* Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at multiple organisational levels* High attention to detail and strong documentation and reporting capability* Experience in mining, heavy industry, infrastructure or energy environments (desirable)**What We Offer*** Permanent, full-time role based at our **Perth Head Office*** Prospect to work at a group level and influence risk and compliance outcomes* Exposure to diverse operational environments through site engagement* Supportive, values-driven culture focused on safety and continuous improvement**The Westgold Offer:** A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer **A range of benefits including:*** Performance based bonus* Group salary continuous insurance* A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount* A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.* Referral Bonus
