- Maintain effective and efficient rosters, with client's needs as the focus allocating shifts to most appropriate staff
- Answering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiries
- Input client requests for services using VisualCare software
- Assisting with recruitment of new staff members including employment screening, interviews, references and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.
- Liaison with brokers, other referral sources, staff members, carer staff, clients and their families as needed
- Ensure all client contact is managed in an empathetic, friendly, engaging and patient manner to quickly build rapport, trust, and confidence with your stakeholders.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
- On-call on a rotating roster About you
- Demonstrative experience in scheduling and administration in the Home Care and Community setting
- Understanding of the SCHADs award, ensuring compliance
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong professional communication and customer service skills
- Developed time-management skills with the ability to multitaskto meet competing priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and VisualCare or other rostering software
- The ability to use initiative, work independently and collaboratively
- Understanding of the local geographical area Qualifications
- Current Australian National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Australian driver's license and your own reliable registered vehicle
- NDIS check or willingness to obtain Preferred Skills
- Understanding of the local geographical area
