Service Sales Specialist - Western Australia (Perth)

- Australia Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. The work model for the role is: hybrid.
- Develop and communicate strategic business plans, drive growth initiatives, and identify opportunities using installed base (IB) insights and market trends.
- Promote and sell the full service portfolio—including upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions—while expanding ABB’s footprint across target markets.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs, translating them into service offerings, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting lifecycle management.
- Manage the full sales cycle: generating leads, maintaining CRM data, preparing proposals, monitoring pipelines, conducting sales visits, and ensuring accurate pricing, risk assessment, and contract administration. Qualifications for the role
- Qualification in electrical engineering or a related technical field, with experience in service or technical sales.
- You bring strong expertise in Medium Voltage switchgear, Low Voltage systems, and Protection and Control systems, with experience spanning a wide range of market sectors.
- Solid knowledge of Western Australia industrial markets and customer operating environments.
- Proven capability in Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and senior‑level customer communication.
- Experience in technical support, service delivery, and adherence to OHS standards.
