Taxi Operations Coordinator South Coast Bus & Taxi – Cowes Depot Full Time | $82,720 + Super | Weekly Pay South Coast Bus Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and organised Operations Support / Taxi Coordinator to join our team based at Cowes Depot. This is a diverse and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of our taxi operations across the Bass Coast region. No two days are the same, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with people and keeping operations running smoothly. Role includes bus operations co-ordination also. About the Role Working closely with management and drivers, duties include: Operations & Coordination
- Assist in the day-to-day running of bus and taxi operations
- Taxi coordination including changes due to absenteeism and vehicle availability
- Taxi Job coordination
- Next-day operational readiness processes
- On-ground coordination of special events
- Participation in after-hours duty rotation Administration & Reporting
- Telephone and customer enquiries
- Data entry and general office administration
- KPI and agency reporting support
- Lost property management
- Process Taxi Bailment and Accounts Driver & Staff Support
- Driver support and operational queries
- Vehicle and job allocation support
- Staff inductions, training and driver assessments
- Assisting with subcontractor and driver management
- First-response staff support and counselling
- Covering other roles as required About You We are looking for someone who: ✔ Has strong communication and organisational skills ✔ Can multitask and remain calm under pressure ✔ Is confident working with staff and customers ✔ Has good computer and administration skills ✔ Is reliable, practical and solutions-focused Experience in transport, logistics, scheduling or supervision is desirable but not essential. Hours & Conditions
- Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm
- 30-minute meal break
- Occasional additional hours may be required to support operations
- Participation in After Hours Duty Manager rotation required Salary & Perks
- $82,720 per annum paid weekly
- 12% Superannuation (or as adjusted by legislation)
- Annual salary review
- Four weeks annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading
- Company mobile phone with reasonable personal use permitted
