About the Role: Part time 0.37EFT (28hrs/ fortnight) Fixed Term until to January 2027 (Potential for extension and additional hours) Wonthaggi and Cowes Locations We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic & supportive community-based service at Bayside Health (Bass Coast). The Grade 2 Non-Admitted Occupational Therapist delivers high quality occupational therapy clinical services to clients referred to the Adult Community Health and Community Rehabilitation programs, across a variety of funding streams. The Occupational Therapist provides a flexible and responsive service that includes the provision of client-centred, goal directed occupational therapy treatment programs in the client’s home or in the community health and rehabilitation centres located across the Bayside Health (Bass Coast) Regional Care Group. Qualifications and Experience Required Essential
· B. App Sc (OT), B. Occupational Therapy, MOT prac or recognised equivalent.
· Full Registration held with Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
· Member of OT Australia (or eligibility for membership).
· Current Australian Driver’s License (unrestricted).
· Current Working with Children’s Check
· Demonstrated best practice in patient assessment and intervention.
· Demonstrated ability to evaluate and modify service delivery in accordance with evidence-based practice.
· Demonstrated skills in clinical supervision and training.
· Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles of continuous quality improvement.
· Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork, and a proven ability to relate effectively to people at all levels of the organisation.
· Demonstrated participation in professional development relevant to the position.
· Established skills in organisation, planning and priority setting. Desirable
