About the Role

We’re looking for passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team at Iris Life Care.

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide day-to-day assistance to people with disabilities, helping them build independence, participate in their communities, and live meaningful lives.

This is a flexible casual role, perfect if you’re looking to make a real difference while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and daily living support

Assist with household tasks and meal preparation

Support community participation and social activities

Encourage skill development and independence

Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality supports

Be versatile to assist across various locations and with different participants

What We’re Looking For

Experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred but not essential)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, patient, and empathetic approach

Comfortable using basic technology (for reporting and participant support)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability for versatile shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

Mandatory Requirements (or willingness to obtain):

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card

First Aid & CPR certification

Driver’s Licence & Vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (preferred)
