Disability Support Worker Casual Phillip

Client Support:

Provide protected, caring, and culturally appropriate support tailored to each client’s strengths and needs.

Assist with personal care, domestic tasks (including yard work), social support, and transport as per shift and support plans.

Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours while maintaining client dignity.

Respect and maintain client and staff confidentiality.

Operational Duties:

Follow daily shift plans and support documents accurately.

Maintain a clean, secure, and compliant environment following OH&S; standards.

Identify and manage risks and hazards during duties.

Organisational Commitment:

Uphold GLDS values, policies, and service agreements with external providers.

Promote effective communication within the team.

Participate in performance appraisals and career development.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate records including client notes, communication books, and reports.

Support data collection and reporting processes in line with organisational standards.

Team Involvement:

Attend meetings, supervision, and training as directed.

Perform shift duties as rostered.

Assist with other tasks and special duties when required.

Pay: $33.00
- $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
