Music Teacher (Violinteacher) (Phillip)

BMS Academy in Canberra has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and agile violin teacher, instructor or tutor for individual flute lessons starting in July 2025. Teachers must have completed Year 12.

**Individual violin teacher/s**

Our individual teachers work in partnership with BMS Academy to teach individual lessons to students between the ages of 10
- adult. Lessons are generally 30 minutes long, and a teacher's schedule is approximately 6-10 lessons in a row.

We are currently looking for one or more violin teachers to take existing schedules on:

- Monday 3.30 pm
- 8.00 pm
- Thursday 3.30 pm
- 7.00 pm
- Friday 3.30 pm
- 7.00 pm
- Saturday 9.30 am -1.00 pm

Some time changes to these schedules can be discussed. The teacher must be able to teach violin and must themselves be a minimum of Grade 8 AMEB level or equivalent. The ability to teach other instruments would be a plus.

Teachers must hold a valid ACT Working With Vulnerable Persons card.
- University music qualification preferred but not required
- University students are welcome to apply

We ask teachers to commit to at least 12 months with BMS Academy. Lessons occur during the ACT Public School Terms.

Pay: $45.00
- $54.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
