Deployment Technician Act Government (Woden Valley)

Up to $70 per hour plus super

**The Company** This state government department plays a crucial role in the wellbeing of ACT and is currently involved in various improvement projects across the state.

Due to an increase in work volume, this respected Government organization have an immediate need for a Deployment Technicians to provide services and support to the commissioning activities associated with the organisation's current project.

The contract duration will be for 6 months, on-site 5 days a week.

**The Job** Reporting into the Program Manager, in this Deployment Technician role, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Deploy end user devices
- Update and manage Jira Assets for End User Devices
- Create and maintain project documentation for the project's end user device operational commissioning
- Assist in end user device deployment using provided training materials
- Manage project documentation, including run sheets and reports
- Coordinate technical and integration testing of end user devices and act as a liaison for testing
- Contribute to communication strategy for end user device operational commissioning
- Work as part of a technical team to support end user device operational commissioning
- Provide early issue and problem awareness reports to the project manager
- Perform other relevant duties within the Directorate

**You** To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:

- Demonstrated technical proficiency in delivering hardware and software in ICT, capable of escalating complex support issues for client satisfaction
- Previous public sector experience will be high advantageous
- Solid problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities effectively
- A+ Certification is advantageous National Police Check
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills is a must
