Smart AVR is a rapid-growing national automotive diagnostics business specialising in advanced vehicle systems and cutting-edge technology. We’re expanding our Melbourne team and seeking experienced Diagnostic Technicians and Qualified Mechanics to join our workshop. The Roles We are hiring for
- Automotive Diagnostic Technician – complex fault finding, advanced diagnostics, electrical/system troubleshooting
- Automotive Technician / Mechanic – servicing, repairs, inspections and general mechanical work You’ll work with modern vehicles, advanced diagnostic tools, and a highly skilled team in a well-equipped workshop. What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults to manufacturer standards
- Using OEM scan tools, diagnostic software, and workshop equipment
- Completing servicing, repairs, and accurate job documentation
- Working collaboratively with technicians and service teams
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship About You
- 3+ years’ experience (Diagnostic Tech) OR trade-qualified Mechanic
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Confident using diagnostic tools and electrical systems knowledge
- Team player with strong communication skills
