**About the Role**: We have an exciting chance for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team on a **12 month fixed term** contract. As an Inventory Controller at Arnott’s, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory control systems, analysing stock levels, and collaborating with various departments to meet organizational objectives.
You will work closely with procurement, manufacturing, quality, planning, NPD, and logistics teams to maintain accurate inventory records in SAP, reduce excess stock, and minimize shortages, ensuring that Arnott’s continues to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

**What your day looks like**:
- Safety Oversight: Begin each day ensuring all team activities align with company OH&S; policies and legislative requirements, while identifying and reporting any safety or operational risks.
- Collaborative Communication: Meet with the Site Coordinator, Manufacturing Manager, and Finance team weekly to discuss major issues from the previous week and develop strategies to prevent recurrence, ensuring everyone is aligned on manufacturing requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyse inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and make informed decisions to optimize stock levels for efficient operations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes by monitoring production commitments, conducting daily/weekly counts, and investigating any discrepancies in Process Orders to determine root causes.
- Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Collaborate with various departments to resolve process issues through root cause analysis and prepare and present inventory reports highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement, making recommendations based on performance data.

- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and informed decision-making.
- Proficient in inventory management software (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Knowledgeable in inventory control principles, supply chain management, and best practices, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
