Retail Shopping Centre Security Officer (Point Cook)

Monjon – Partnering with Shopping Centres across Melbourne Metro. Due to client requirements, we are currently seeking Part-Time and Casual Security Officers to join our team in the Southwest suburbs. Shifts are available across Thursday-Sunday. This role is suited to experienced officers who can deliver a high level of customer service, maintain a calm and skilled presence, and confidently manage and de-escalate situations while upholding the highest security standards. Please note, this is a standalone position and officers will be required to work independently on shift. Key Requirements To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria: Essential:
- Minimum 12 months experience working in shopping centre security
- Current Victorian Security Licence
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professional presentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
- Demonstrated reliability, commitment, and professionalism
- Availability to work across all four days
- Physically fit and capable of conducting regular foot patrols Highly Desirable:
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and to cover leave where required About the Role
