Overview THE ROLE As a Line Chef, you will be entrusted with the preparation, production, and service of food, adhering to Civeo's esteemed food service standards. Your role will encompass maintaining impeccable cleanliness and safety in all kitchen areas, while consistently delivering high-quality meals for Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner. Responsibilities
- Prepare, produce, and serve food to required standards and timelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all kitchen areas.
- Ensure high-quality meals for Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner.
- Adhere to Civeo food service standards and HACCP principles where applicable. Role Details
- Salary of $112K + 12% Superannuation
- Work a 14:7 roster (living/working on site for 2 weeks, 12-hour days, and one week home)
- Fly from Adelaide or Port Augusta and be transported to our Village Perks
- PATHWAYS FOR PROGRESSION: Ongoing training and development on site
- DISCOUNTS across hundreds of retailers
- FOOD: all-you-can-eat catering for all preferences/allergies/intolerances
- PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION: including linen, aircon, fridge, closet, TV, ensuite, weekly servicing
- FACILITIES: may include gym, sporting fields and pool
- SOCIAL EVENTS: fitness, darts, yoga, paint and sip, sports matches, bingo, to name a few
- WELLBEING PROGRAMS: confidential counselling services via our EAP About You
- Australian recognized Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or Trade Certificate (NVQ Level 4 and City & Guilds accepted)
- Ideally 3+ years post-trade or commercial cooking experience
- Demonstrated expertise in high-volume bulk and batch cookery (FIFO experience is highly desirable)
- High standards in food storage and preparation methods with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP principles
- Understanding of and adherence to workplace safety and compliance standards
- Confident working under pressure in a diverse team of Chefs and Kitchenhands
- Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorship NOT available)
- Confidently pass a pre-employment medical
