Starward Distillery & Bar is home exciting whisky experiences including tours, masterclasses and even a Fill Your Own Bottle experience. Guest can enjoy an innovative menu offering cocktails, whisky tastings, and seasonal small plates.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Bar Manager is key in providing an authentic memorable Starward experience, showcasing our brand in a range of ways including in-store experiences and drink service, to tours and masterclasses.
- Working the bar, mixing a range of sophisticated drinks and serving our guests ensuring exceptional presentation and consistency.
- Keeping up to date with the latest concepts and trends in hospitality and industry to ensure we continue to stay relevant.
- Lead the team to create seasonal drink menus that hero Starward and align with our philosophy.
- Manage costings for drink items to meet KPI targets and margins. Ensuring we maximise resources and minimise spending and waste.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate hospitality professional that want to be a part of an exciting and growing Australian whisky brand.
Being confident, organised and demonstrated communication skills will be paramount, with experience in all facets of venue operations including menu costing, stock control and drink creation.
A valid RSA will be required.
