About the Role
The Trade Assistant will assist trainers and workshop teams in maintaining equipment, preparing training areas, and supporting students during practical sessions. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-organised learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with workshop setup and supporting practical training sessions Maintaining tools, machinery, and equipment in positive working order Supporting students in the protected and correct use of tools and equipment Ensuring the workshop remains clean, safe, and compliant with WHS standards Managing consumables, materials, and stock control
About You:
This role is well-suited to someone with hands-on experience in workshops, carpentry, or a related trade, who enjoys working in an educational setting and supporting learners in developing practical skills.
