Job Summary Major Projects Director – Water Infrastructure, Melbourne office.

What will a day in the role look like?

Support the management of key Water client relationships in Victoria, maintaining regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Build an understanding of client business needs, priorities and project drivers to identify opportunities.

Assist in coordinating client interactions and supporting collaboration across technical and project teams to package integrated cross-discipline engineering solutions.

Contribute to account planning activities and align pursuits with broader Water business objectives.

Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, pipeline tracking and chance coordination.

Work with project and operational teams to deliver quality outcomes that meet client expectations.

Develop strong internal relationships across business lines to support integrated service delivery.

Monitor market and competitor activity and provide insights to support growth opportunities and client positioning.

Qualifications

Expert knowledge (ideally 15+ years) in multidisciplinary Water Infrastructure project delivery.

Demonstrable network and deep understanding of Victorian Water Infrastructure and broader Water project frameworks.

Collaborative mindset with experience across multidisciplinary teams, connecting technical specialists.

Consultative communication style, able to understand client needs and provide trusted advice.

Broad understanding of project delivery, including planning, approvals, flooding, drainage and infrastructure.
