Technical Business Analyst - Trading & Investment Banking …, Port Phillip City

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a large banking and investment environment supporting trading and technology platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, traders, and technology teams to gather requirements, improve processes, and support the delivery of critical trading and investment banking projects. You will play a key role in translating business needs into clear technical requirements and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements

Work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams

Support projects across trading and investment banking platforms

Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement sessions

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and project documentation

Ensure solutions align with business, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Support Agile delivery and testing activities

Skills & Experience

Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within banking or investment environments

Previous experience working with trading platforms is essential

Robust stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence

Ability to work in fast-paced and complex enterprise environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
