Sales Assistant (Port Phillip City)

Full-Time Stores Sales Assistant Haymes Paint Phillip is looking for a Full-Time Stores Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in a busy, high-energy location. You’ll work with both trade and retail customers, delivering outstanding service while sharing your knowledge and passion for colour and design. Key Responsibilities
- Provide service, advice and product solutions to both trade and retail customers
- Handle all paint related questions for all customers, including tinting paint products and colour matching to customer requirements.
- Inventory control (goods receiving/stocktaking), stock replenishment
- Take orders in-store and by phone
- Build solid relationships with repeat customers in store and fellow colleagues
- Assist with visual displays, store presentation and general house-keeping
- Comply with safe work practices About you
- Previous experience working in a customer service role
- A willingness to learn, grow and develop with Haymes Paint
- Must have a driver's licence to make local deliveries
- Experience with stock handling and merchandising
- Confidence to perform manual tasks (Lifting up to 15kg)
- Point of Sales (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy
- Paint Trade experience is highly regarded but not essential Added Benefits Include
