- Cook role at Ingenia Communities Group We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team at The Beach House Restaurant & Bar, located within Ingenia Holiday Park. This is a casual position with the opportunity to pick up additional hours during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to a high standard, following menu guidelines and minimising waste.
- Manage stock efficiently; ordering, receiving, and rotating to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment and surfaces.
- Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and productive environment.
- Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping. About You
- Previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking, with solid communication and basic budgeting skills.
- A proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work culture.
- Ability to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high standards.
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment safely with PPE.
