Medical Receptionist – Portland Family Practice Portland Family Practice is currently seeking a friendly, organised and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. This position can be either part-time or full-time for the right candidate, with hours and days negotiable. As the first point of contact for our patients, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional and able to thrive in a busy clinic environment. About the Role Duties will include
- Greeting and assisting patients
- Managing appointments and phone enquiries
- Medicare billing and receipting
- Administrative and reception duties
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
- Supporting doctors, nurses and the wider clinic team About You The successful applicant will:
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be reliable, organised and able to multitask
- Work well within a team environment
- Be confident using computers and learning new systems
- Previous medical reception or administration experience is preferred, but not essential for the right applicant What We Offer
