Nelson, New South Wales, Australia Overview As a Services Manager in Built’s Construction business unit, you’ll manage and deliver the services works on a high‑profile data centre project in Sydney’s West valued at approximately $2 B. With $4.5 B of secured work in our pipeline, you’ll have endless opportunities to grow your career. Responsibilities
- Deliver building services components and associated works for major construction projects.
- Assist project teams in understanding and solving services and design issues, and contribute to business development throughout the conversion process.
- Coordinate closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors on a project basis.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for services during project execution. Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Services Manager within the construction industry.
- Experience working with a first‑tier building contractor on large‑scale and major projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience in design, construction/installation.
- Experience in commissioning of all services. The Ideal Candidate

- Quality focus and risk assessment capability.
- Conflict management skills.
- Ability to facilitate change and make decisions.
- Thorough understanding of the services design and coordination process.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building commissioning and handover process.
- Understanding of utilities arrangement for projects.
- Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards related to building services.
- Initiative and adaptability.
- Strong time‑management, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and rapport building.
