BARTENDER + BAR BACK (2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE) (Port Macquarie)

About The Venue: We are a craft cocktail bar with a Japanese-inspired food offering, built around charcoal cooking, seasonality, and a strong focus on thoughtful, low-waste hospitality. We're currently seeking both a Bartender and Bar Back to join the team. We’re looking for people who bring energy, curiosity, attention to detail and a natural ability to connect with people. Technical skills can be taught — hospitality mindset can’t. This role will also involve cross-training into FOH, along with developing robust knowledge of both our food and beverage program over time. You do not need to arrive with extensive craft cocktail knowledge. We’ll provide training across our drinks philosophy, cocktail preparation, service standards, venue systems and the finer details that shape the guest experience. Whether it's learning craft cocktail techniques, understanding flavour pairings, working with premium ingredients or refining service skills, we’re looking for people with a genuine desire to learn and grow. Bartender Role:

- Previous hospitality experience preferred For Bar Backs
- Support smooth, seamless and high-energy service throughout the venue
- Assist with washing and resetting glassware and maintaining bar presentation standards
- Help reset, restock and prepare bar stations during and after service
- Learn and support key bartending principles and service flow
- Gain exposure to craft cocktail preparation, premium products and bar operations
- Cross-train across Front of House service and wider venue operations
- Receive training and development with opportunities to grow into broader bar responsibilities over time
- Work closely with bartenders and the wider team to help deliver memorable guest experiences
- Looking for organised, proactive and team-oriented people with a strong work ethic
- No previous cocktail experience required — attitude and willingness to learn matter most What We Offer:
