Chef de Partie Having just opened just months ago, Young’s Palace has quickly become one of Sydney’s most exciting recent dining rooms of 2026. A celebration of classic Chinese cuisine elevated through refined technique, precision, and the very best local produce. We’re now looking for talented chefs to join our growing team. Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of three years cooking experience, a robust technical foundation, and above all, a positive, curious and enthusiastic attitude in the kitchen. Experience in Chinese cuisine is highly valued, but not essential, so if you have skill in other cuisines and a genuine desire to learn, you’ll be in excellent hands. The kitchen is led by Sam Young and Grace Chen, two of Sydney’s most respected chefs, who are committed to mentoring the next generation of culinary talent. We are a grass-roots, small business who value those looking for mentorship and who have the ambition to one day own their own restaurant.
