- $66,607 to $77,912 p.a. + super and allowances of $20,596 p.a.
- Ability to earn an additional allowance of up to $12,802 p.a.

*** An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic employee to lead one of our Waste Services teams at Woollahra Council on a permanent full time basis.

*** As Waste Services Team Leader (Driver) you will be responsible for the following: ***
- Lead and supervise a small team of waste collectors
- Carry out waste collection duties when required, such as bin collection, emptying and replacement, to Council work and safety standards and as directed
- Operate all necessary plant and equipment, such as mechanical bin lifters, to achieve job objectives.
- To respond to service complaints and action requests as directed.
- To provide the Waste Services Coordinator with accurate daily records of works requested and completed.
- To identify and report promptly to the Waste Services Coordinator any observed potential hazards on Council property, infrastructure or open space.
- To comply with the responsibilities of a driver in operating and maintaining a Council vehicle as set out in Council’s Safe Driving & Fleet Management Policy Objective.

- **Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a Waste Collection Team.****:

- **HR Driving Licence with proven outstanding driving record.****:

- **At least two years of truck driving experience.****:

- **Ability to work varied hours including early starts.****:

- **Proven reliability and commitment to Council’s values.****:

- **Demonstrated experience and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.****:

- **Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.****:

- **Demonstrated customer service skills.****:

- **Physical ability to perform general labouring duties as outlined in section 7 of the Position Description.***

*** **Desirable Criteria**

- Experience in the use of Councils IT programs including CRM software I Concierge and/or HR Central (iChris) or similar.
