Educational Clinician / Tutor (Double Bay)

We are hiring in-person Educational Clinicians / Tutors to work at our Lindamood-Bell Learning Centre in Double Bay, NSW. **What You’ll Do as an Educational Clinician / Tutor**
- Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction to in-person and online students of various ages.
- Record notes about student performance while delivering engaging, structured lesson plans under the direction of Learning Centre leadership.
- Implement positive reinforcement strategies that maximise learning.
- Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students.
- Communicate positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
- Manage client records, both handwritten and electronic.

**Position & Schedule Details**
- Educational Clinician / Tutor work is performed in office at the Lindamood-Bell® Learning Centre in Double Bay, NSW.
- Available positions are casual, beginning in June.
- Monday through Friday availability is required.
- Learning Centre hours of operation: 8:00 AM through 6:00 PM
- Scheduling changes may be made based on the needs of the Learning Centre.
- Paid training generally occurs Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, for two weeks.
- Post-training hours may vary week to week according to the scheduling needs of the Learning Centre.
- Internship credits may be available.

**What We’re Looking For**

**Required Qualifications**:

- Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, early childhood education certificate, or currently enrolled in a degree program (students welcome)
- Passion for helping others succeed academically
- Ability to connect and engage with students of all ages while showcasing effective task-management capabilities in each instructional session
- Strong reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
- Basic computer proficiency

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- The following experience is beneficial, but not required for consideration of the role. _- Tutoring, teaching, or classroom experience
- Background in education, child development, or literacy
- Experience working with children or students

**Compensation**:

- The hourly rate for this position is AUD$31.19 + superannuation.
