**About the Role**: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to support the successful delivery of projects within the Skills Labs initiative at Melbourne Polytechnic. In this role, you will provide essential administrative assistance, including managing documentation, coordinating meetings and workshops, tracking project milestones, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Your ability to maintain smooth operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in driving the success of these innovative projects. **Duties**:

- Manage and maintain project-related documents for easy retrieval and accurate recordkeeping.
- Use software tools such as Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and SharePoint proficiently to support project administration.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and events, including drafting agendas and recording minutes.
- Track project milestones and timelines, supporting project schedule maintenance and action item follow-up.
- Organise and prioritise administrative tasks such as database management, word processing, and meeting/event logistics.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Qualifications or equivalent experience in an administrative role, ideally supporting a project team.
- Demonstrated high-level administrative and organisational skills, including document presentation, drafting and formatting, producing Excel spreadsheets, database maintenance, filing, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in formatting and proofreading documents.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
