About the Role As Assistant Director, you'll be the right‑hand support to our Campus Director and Educational Leader – working together to create a positive, nurturing, and high‑performing workplace for children, families, and educators alike. You’ll take the lead in:
- Supporting and mentoring educators to grow and succeed
- Ensuring every child's day is safe, engaging, and full of learning
- Building warm, trusted relationships with families
- Embedding best practice in line with the NQF and The OAC Way
- Inspiring a culture of collaboration, creativity, and care About You You're a confident, team‑oriented professional who knows how to balance fun and focus. You'll bring:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or higher)
- 2–3+ years of leadership experience in an early learning setting
- Strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF & CSS
- A supportive and proactive leadership style
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and mentoring skills
