Assembly & Operations Apprenticeship (Heidelberg West)

Job Summary

Assembles components and parts to produce LED Lighting products. Also Handles day-to-day operation of the warehouse, as part of the WH team.

Role Description
- Assemble various components into finished products to fulfil sales orders
- Organise and store inventory items in proper location
- Process returns
- QC / Test products
- Receive and count new stock
- Pick and pack stock for outgoing orders, despatch orders to customers
- Stocktake counts
- Operate forklift to move / store inventory
- Invoicing sales orders
- Actively promotes a clean, tidy and safe working workplace
- Basic cleaning of work area

**Required Skills**:

- Certificate II in Engineering Studies or its equivalent
- Must be familiar with basic electrical components & procedures, can wire up products
- Handy
- knows their way around a Drill, screwdriver, pliers etc
- Has a high attention to detail and is meticulous with their work
- Time management skills, highly organised
- Fluent in English
- written and spoken
- excellent communication skills a must
- Customer service skills, able to assist customers with their orders when required
- Physically able to lift items up to 20Kg and can do repetitive lifting
- Decent computer skills, windows etc

Preferred Skills
