Eugene Gilligan Garden Design is a well-established and highly reputable design studio that has been designing gardens in Melbourne since 1986. EG Horticulture was established by Eugene Gilligan in 2003 to meet a growing need for horticultural staff with specialist expertise in soft landscaping and garden maintenance. Due to continued growth, EG Horticulture currently has a position vacant for a qualified and experienced Horticulturalist.
EG Horticulture specialises in maintenance and soft landscaping of Eugene Gilligan Design gardens throughout Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula.
The Role:
On offer is a Full time (5 days a week) ongoing casual role within a longstanding well-established company.
Working hours of 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday only. No weekend work.
Extremely generous hourly rates that increase for experienced, qualified and passionate gardeners.
An interesting and diverse role with a mix of garden maintenance and soft landscaping and planting for Eugene Gilligan Garden Design projects.
You will be a valued member of a small, friendly and supportive team committed to high quality work.

About you:
You have proven experience within residential garden maintenance.
You have and demonstrate a genuine passion for plant health and garden maintenance.
Demonstrated experience in lawn care, perennials, shrubs, trees, pruning, hedging, strong knowledge of plant identification, plant and soil health and weeds.
Certificate III Horticulture/or above
Strong commitment to secure work practices.
Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks.
Reliable, punctual and hard working.
Current Victorian Drivers License (Manual)
