Electrical AutoCAD and Revit Drafter (Preston)

Tradetech Services Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical AutoCAD/Revit Drafter to join our growing team in Melbourne. Working closely with our BIM Manager and engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical design documentation for major projects This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled drafter looking to further develop their BIM expertise while contributing to exciting and technically challenging projects. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings for LV, HV, and telecommunications systems.
- Develop schedules for pits, conduits, cable routes, and associated infrastructure.
- Produce and maintain accurate Revit models and AutoCAD documentation.
- Track drawing progress against project schedules and proactively manage deliverables.
- Maintain organised and accurate document control systems.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
- Deliver documentation within project budgets and deadlines.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve technical queries and coordination issues.
- Collaborate closely with the BIM Manager to achieve project objectives.
- Attend site inspections and project meetings across Melbourne as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in electrical drafting and BIM modelling using Revit.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong experience managing worksets and linked services models within parent Revit files.
- Sound understanding of electrical services documentation and drafting standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Desirable Skills
- Experience with Navisworks, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Experience creating and managing Revit families.
- Exposure to infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, or industrial projects. What We Offer
