Technician Project Lead – Product Support (Wetherill Park) …, City of Fairfield

We are looking for an experienced engineer who likes to be part of the expanding team at Cummins providing the power generation systems &solutions; for the growing data centre, energy management, mission critical and industrial power market segments within the Asia Pacific business region. This role needs to be based in Sydney, Australia while providing project engineering support for power generation project opportunities at various countries within the Asia Pacific and collaborating across the globe. Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships
- Interpret customer requirements
- Recognize regulatory requirements
- Define functional & performance requirements
- Recommend applicable systems and solutions
- Generate technical specification
- Provide technical compliance, deviation and exemption matrix to the tender requirements
- Communicate system installation requirements
- Recommend and review system installation designs (on paper)
- Review actual system installation (on site)
- Support testing and commissioning
- Organize technical documentation Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering
- Builds networks – effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and 3D Printing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong experience of applying power generation products, systems, and solutions Compensation and Advantages
