Field Service Technician – Electrical (Power Generation) …, City of Fairfield

Electrical Technician Field Service position in Wetherill Park specializing in Power Generation. Responsibilities
- Working on generator sets and engine control panels, handling scheduled and unscheduled service work
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines/generators up to 3350 KVA
- Modifying wiring looms and diagrams
- Commissioning of new generators/systems, transfer switches and master controllers
- Collaborating closely with the Mechanical Service team
- Completing all work with a high focus on safety
- Participating in an After Hours on-call roster Qualifications
- Qualified Electrical Technician / Power Generation
- A/E Class Electrical license (or A Grade)
- Experience with industrial and power generation products is considered
- Low Voltage experience required
- Mechanical aptitude and fault‑finding ability highly desirable
- PLC experience highly desirable
- Local valid driver’s license required Benefits
