- Drive electrical safety leadership, ensuring effective electrical safety processes and controls (e.g. isolations/LOTO, permitting) are in place and followed
- Act as the business Electrical Responsible/Competent Person (LV/HV as applicable)
- Establish and maintain electrical competency frameworks, authorisations and licence compliance for employees and contractors
- Plan, coordinate and oversee electrical installation, commissioning, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities (including reactive and preventive maintenance) across sites
- Support capital and operational projects through design reviews, constructability input, commissioning readiness, and handover to operations
- Ensure electrical maintenance activities are planned, risk assessed, executed by authorised personnel and fully documented prior to return to service
- Maintain compliance by ensuring all electrical repair and maintenance activities are planned, executed, and completed in accordance with requirements
- Lead response to electrical incidents, including investigations, corrective actions, and regulator engagement where required
- Manage contractor performance, scopes, permits, and compliance with company and statutory requirements Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
- 10 years experience in electrical services/maintenance/projects with 5 years leading electricians/technical teams
- Experience with substations, power generation, protection and HV/LV distribution
- RPEQ (QLD) or Chartered status (CPEng) advantageous with the ability to act as Responsible Electrical Person where required
- Australian Drivers Licence
