We now have a rare opportunity for an experienced, senior Publicity Manager to take a key leadership role in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a permanent full-time role available for an immediate start. What youll do as a Publicity Manager: Reporting to the Head of Publicity, the Publicity Manager is responsible for developing and delivering targeted publicity campaigns that promote content and talent across all platforms of Paramount ANZ including Network 10 (10 and 10 Streaming) and Paramount+. In addition, this role provides leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives. The person in this role requires strong strategic thinking, exceptional media relationships, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale campaigns in a fast-paced entertainment environment. - Leadand mentor Publicity team members,fosteringcollaboration andprovidingongoing guidance and support.
- Develop and implementinnovativecommunication strategies for Paramount ANZ programs and talent,securinghigh-impactplacements acrossboth traditional and emerging media, includingprint, broadcast, online,podcast,digital,socialand influencerchannels.
- Identifyandleverageemerging media trends, digitalvoicesand new storytelling formats to create unique earned opportunities that extend beyond traditional media outlets. This includes social storytellers, viral personalities with mediarelevance, digitaljournalists, podcasters, socialinterviewersand viral commentators.
- Build and foster connections with key social media content creators and influencers to generate earnedSocialmedia coverage across Instagram,Facebook, TikTok, X and YouTube.
- Cultivate andmaintainrelationships with key media organisations and journalists.
- Establish andmaintainpositive and effective working relationships with a wide range of talent, agents,production,personalpublicistsand unit publicists.
- Coordinate and oversee talent interviews, screenings, launches, briefings,junketsand media tours.
- Write,editand approvecompelling,conciseand engaging materials for shows, including media releases, media kits, talent briefing notes, lines against enquiry and key messaging,adapting your writing style to reflect the tone of the program.
- Anticipate and manage issues with a potentially negative impact and handle reactive crisis communicationsin collaboration with the Corporate Communications team.
- Manage all aspects of program and talent photo shoots from concept through to delivery.
- Monitor andanalysemedia coverage and campaign performance,providingstrategic insights.
- Manage publicity budgets,timelinesand external agency/freelance relationships (where applicable), by providinga briefand ongoing guidance. What are we looking for in a Publicity Manager? Whats important? Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Public Relations,Communications,Journalism,Media,Marketing,Social Media, Advertisingora relatedfield. Experience
- 8+ years experience inPublicity,Public Relations, orCommunications, ideally within a television network, streaming platform, studio,production company, talentagencyor entertainment PR agency.
- Demonstrated experience leadinghigh profile, impactfulpublicity campaigns for television or streaming content.
- Established media relationships across entertainmentandlifestylemedia.
- Experience managingtalentpublicity,mediatours, and high-profile events.
- Experience in crisis communications andreputationalmanagement.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, managingand mentoring teams. Skills/Knowledge

- Strongproficiencyin all Microsoft Office applications.
