Disability Support Worker (Bungendore)

We offer a range of supports, including assistance with daily living, capacity building, and access to therapies, ensuring services are aligned with each client’s unique needs and goals.

**Location: Bungendore**

**Hours**:

- Thursday: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (pick up from day program in Queanbeyan)
- Friday: 9:00/9:30 AM to 12:00 PM (home support; potential for classes like dancing or boxing in the future)

**About the Client**: The client is a female, 17 year old with a vibrant personality with unique needs and preferences. She requires support from someone who is understanding, patient, and proactive.

**Support Needs**:

- The client has a Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) that requires consistent implementation.
- While she can speak, expressive language can be challenging for her.
- Accents can be hard for the client to understand, so clear communication is essential.

S**upport Worker Preference**:

- Female support workers preferred.
- Someone who can gently but firmly enforce boundaries and ensure she follows her routine.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to her needs.
