**Location**: Bungendore NSW 2621 **Position Type**: Casual **Hours**: Monday and Thursday (4hrs each) **Salary**: $35.00hr
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We are seeking compassionate and reliable **Disability Support Staff** to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and achieve their goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide social support, and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, domestic duties and medication management.
- Support clients with mobility, transportation, and social activities.
- Empower clients to live as independently as possible, fostering dignity and respect.
- Assist with light household duties and community engagement.
**Requirements**:
- Current **First Aid and CPR** certification.
- Current **NDIS screening check** and **WWCC**:
- Valid **driver’s license** and access to a **reliable car with insurance** for transportation of clients.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards people with disabilities.
- Honest, reliable and committed to work unsupervised in 1:1 environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in disability support is highly regarded
- Clean Updated Police Certificate
- Verifiable work referees
- Must possess valid ABN.

- Australian Indigenous applicants are encouraged to apply**.**:
- Knowledge of disability support practices and NDIS guidelines.
- Experience with complex needs or behavioural support is a plus.
