Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid/on‑site future opportunity role for a Merchant Success & Technical Support Officer based in Canberra. The role involves supporting merchant onboarding, assisting with platform‑related queries, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and helping merchants successfully use the SpenVest platform. You will work closely with internal teams to improve onboarding experiences, document processes, gather merchant feedback, and support overall platform operations. You will act as an important link between merchants and the SpenVest product team, helping identify issues, improve workflows, and contribute to a positive merchant experience. Qualifications
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing clear instructions, and using tools for issue tracking and resolution.
- Merchant and Customer Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships, provide training, and ensure merchant satisfaction.
- Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Familiarity with software platforms, basic coding knowledge, and analytical tools.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Problem‑Solving and Organizational Skills: Ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve complex challenges efficiently in a customer‑centric workplace.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in fintech, SaaS tools, or a similar technical support role is an advantage.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in fintech, payments, retail technology, or financial services is a plus.
