This position will be responsible for managing all production activities, costs, operations, and forecasts at our precast concrete manufacturing facility. This is a fulltime position, and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career or a Production Manager looking for a change in scenery! **Description**: **Your Roles & Responsibilities**: Ensure strict adherence to production schedules, inventory levels, and plant capacities, regularly reviewing and adjusting based on demand fluctuations. Develop and maintain production schedules considering sales forecasts, plant capacity, and inventory requirements. Assist in establishing production standards, targets, and optimizing staff utilization. Monitor plant performance and address production issues promptly to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with management to enhance production efficiency, optimize output, and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with repair schedules and timely procurement of spare parts Exemplify company values, fostering professionalism, integrity, and positive communication. Lead production operations, setting direction and ensuring accountability for performance. Coach and motivate teams to support continuous improvement. Facilitate effective team communication and engagement in meetings. Contribute to operational effectiveness through participation in management discussions. Coordinate and supervise production team to ensure efficient utilization of human resources and adherence to workplace safety protocols. Monitor ongoing performance of production team members and provide guidance or corrective action as necessary. **Skills and Experiences**: **How You Can Contribute**: Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar hands on operational leadership role within a precast concrete or like minded manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a results-driven approach. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
