About the role Bakers Delight, a well-established and respected bakery chain, is seeking a Qualified or Apprentice Baker to join our thriving team in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a full time position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our baked goods and contributing to the overall success of our local bakery. What you'll be doing
- Preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods to our exacting specifications
- Ensuring all products meet our stringent quality and safety standards
- Assisting with the daily operations of the bakery, including inventory management and kitchen organization
- Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and product innovations
- Maintaining a clean and well‑organized work environment What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications as a qualified baker or an eagerness to learn as an apprentice baker
- Strong baking skills and a keen eye for detail to produce consistently high‑quality baked goods
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
