Area Sales Manager (Queanbeyan)

Toro is seeking a agile and customer-focused individual to join our Commercial Equipment team as an Area Sales Manager. This role focuses on driving sales and meeting profit targets by managing relationships with Golf Course Superintendents, Sports Turf Managers, General Managers, and key accounts within a designated territory that includes Southern Recent South Wales Area, ACT, and other areas. Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and executing regional sales profit plans.
- Assist in preparing annual, quarterly and monthly sales and profit forecasts and develop strategies to achieve targets.
- Accountable for the sales and profit results allocated by the Regional Sales Manager (Equipment).
- Manage a combination of key accounts, projects and industry associations.
- Monitor and report accurate market data, competitor activity and develop trends within the industry.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, accounts or pricing issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of new products, competitors’ products and other general market information of interest to customers. Qualifications
- Exceptional and proven sales skills in an equipment environment.
- Relevant industry experience.
- Strong sales, persuasiveness and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
- Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
- Excellent PC and Microsoft Office literacy.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
