About the Role We’re currently recruiting a Part‑Time OOSH Assistant Educator for our Queanbeyan South OOSH who thrives in an inclusive and collaborative setting. Responsibilities
- Create engaging, play‑based learning experiences for primary school‑aged children
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
- Support children’s development through meaningful interactions and activities
- Work as part of a supportive and passionate team What You’ll Bring

- A willingness to learn and apply key frameworks, including:
- National Education and Care Law

- A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing What We’re Looking For
- Availability Monday to Friday:
- 7:00am – 9:00am
- 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Experience working or volunteering with children
- Valid driver’s licence
- Foundations of Child Safety Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- First aid & CPR in an education and care setting (or willingness to obtain)
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Knowledge of educational frameworks (desirable but not essential) Why Join the Y?
