Caravan Service & Repair Technician (Heatherbrae)

About the role Snowy River Newcastle is seeking a Caravan Service & Repair Technician to join our team in Heatherbrae, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and repair work on caravans. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are well-maintained and ready for their next adventure. What you'll be doing 1. Conducting comprehensive inspections, servicing and repairs on all makes and models of caravans 2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues 3. Carrying out scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications 4. Replacing and repairing parts, components and accessories 5. Advising customers on recommended maintenance and repair work 6. Maintaining detailed records of all work completed 7. Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times What we're ideally looking for 1. Proven experience as a Caravan Service & Repair Technician or similar role in the automotive/RV industry 2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of caravan and recreational vehicle systems, including mechanics, electrics, plumbing and appliances 3. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics 4. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills 5. Strong customer service orientation and communication skills 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 7.
