- Education assistance and personal career development The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This role is responsible for delivering Engineering and Application services for any upgrade or maintenance activities that relate to our customer’s Electrical systems. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the services we provide in this area are relevant, fit for purpose, are compliant with regulations and meet the needs of our customers. The role will provide Electrical Engineering design and technical support for the team of Engineering personnel. They will assist the Engineering Co‑Ordinate to ensure the efficient use of our resources. The role must also provide valuable information and support when requested for quoting or tendering on upcoming opportunities. What We’re Looking For
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma (Essential)
- Electrical Supervisor/Contractors License (Desirable)
- High level proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel)
- Ability to review and update electrical schematic and wiring diagrams
- Technical skills associated with testing and maintenance of HV electrical and Engineering systems
- Demonstrated commitment to protected work practices, holds safety as a core value
- Demonstrated experience in resolving problems, including fault finding
- Ability to multi‑task in stressful situations
- Engineering expertise in High Voltage electrical system diagnosis and design
- Knowledge of the workings of Power Transformers up to 330 kV
