Our firm consists of a dedicated team of 9 staff who provide accounting and taxation services to a broad range of small and medium-sized businesses. About the Role As a valued member of our administration team, you will play an integral role in supporting both clients and staff while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service. This position is ideally suited to an experienced receptionist or administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced office workplace and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service. You will be responsible for managing front office operations, handling client enquiries, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative support to the broader team. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities
· Managing incoming telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately
· Coordinating appointments, meeting schedules, and diary management for staff
· Liaising professionally with clients, the Australian Taxation Office, and other regulatory bodies via phone and email
· Welcoming clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
· Processing and distributing ATO correspondence and client documentation
· Maintaining accurate electronic scanning, filing, and document management systems
· Preparing, collating, and packaging income tax returns and financial statements
· Providing administrative assistance and supporting the team with general office and ad hoc duties as required Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administration role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled presentation and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, motivated, and adaptable work ethic Desirable Criteria
- Certificate in Business Administration (or currently undertaking studies)
