Geotechnical Engineer (Heatherbrae)

BFG Daracon, part of the Daracon Group, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support a growing portfolio of complex infrastructure and civil projects. This role suits an engineer who enjoys combining sound geotechnical judgement with practical, site-based delivery. About the role You will help develop, design and deliver grouting solutions across BFG Daracon projects. Working closely with construction, design and project teams, you will manage ground conditions, maintain quality systems and help mitigate subsidence risk. Key responsibilities
- Develop and review grouting methodologies and work procedures
- Develop and maintain project QA systems and records
- Prepare client reporting on process, progress and QA outcomes
- Provide technical input to tenders, designs and construction methodologies
- Support site teams with method statements, risk assessments and QA documentation
- Monitor grouting works on site and assess performance outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement in drilling and grouting practices About you
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering (or similar)
- Ability to translate technical theory into practical construction solutions
- Excellent communication skills with high-quality reporting capability
- Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork Desirable
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure, civil or mining projects
- Experience with drilling, grouting and ground improvement on civil/infrastructure projects
- Understanding of mine subsidence drivers and remediation approaches
